The 2009 Mennonite young adult retreat at Drift Creek Camp invites you to join us as we welcome young
adult Mennonites of all stripes--evangelical Mennonites, heretical
Mennonites, ethnic Mennonites, confused Mennonites, no-longer
Mennonites, Democratic Mennonites, Republican Mennonites, Hispanic
Mennonites, African Mennonites, plain-clothes Mennonites,
extravagently-clothed Mennonites, anyone at all connected to or
interested in Mennonites--to come enjoy Drift Creek Camp. Looking for
a theme? Optional workshops, panel discussions, and creative outlets
will give you the chance to explore and contribute to an
unprecedented discussion on Mennonite diversity. Looking for rest and
recreation? Drift Creek's stunning setting, abundant games, cozy
fireplace and spontaneous group activities will be there for our enjoyment. Come. Contribute. Or don't contribute. Play. Or
don't play. Be Mennonite. Or don't be Mennonite. Just come. All for $50--food included. Young adults, for the purposes of this retreat, are defined as those 18-30ish. If you define yourself as a young adult, and are out of high school, you are welcome. Married couples are welcome too, without children.
