"Over 50" Retreat Mennonite Association of Retired Persons (MARP) in Lancaster, PA and Drift Creek Camp in Lincoln City, OR are co-sponsoring an "Over 50 Retreat" to be held at Drift Creek Camp on May 11 - 13, 2009. Marlene Kropf, director of the Office of Congregational Life and minister of worship for Mennonite Church USA and Associate Professor in Spiritual Formation and Worship at Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, IN will be leading a retreat on Contemplative Christianity in the Celtic tradition, dating back to 200 AD. Those attending will focus on activities that include a daily ordering of life to experience God through the Biblical word, music, nature, and other visuals.
